NOTE: Due to the "Big Dig" in downtown Boston, major construction often results in detours. Be prepared to follow alternate directions.

From Logan Airport
By Car: Follow signs to Boston via the Ted Williams Tunnel. At the end of the tunnel, follow the signs for Route 93 North and take the Government Center exit. At the top of the ramp, take the first left and follow the road to the Surface Artery. (See below for directions from the Surface Artery).

From Points North of Boston
Take route 93 South to downtown Boston. After entering the Central Artery Tunnel, take Exit 24-A (Government Center) which comes out onto the Surface Artery. (See below for directions from the Surface Artery).

From Points South of Boston
Take route 93 North to Boston. After entering the Central Artery Tunnel, take Exit 23 (Government Center) and at the top of the ramp, turn left and follow the signs to Aquarium. (See below for directions from the Surface Artery).

From Points West of Boston
Follow the Massachusetts Turnpike to the end. Merge onto 93 North and take Exit 23 (Government Center) and at the top of the ramp, turn left and follow the signs to Aquarium. (See below for directions from the Surface Artery).

From the Surface Artery
When you reach the Surface Artery, the Aquarium will be a few blocks ahead on your left. If you are driving and want to park, look for the large Harbor Garage next to the Aquarium at Milk Street. From the garage, walk straight across the construction area, to the large Romanesque stone building on Milk Street.
